Size 0 Model Ban

Céline, Dior, Gucci,  and Louis Vuitton have pledged to no longer use size 0 models. Female models will have to be minimum US size 2 (34 in France) and male models will be US size extra small (44 in France). On top of size changes, they will no longer dress boys and girls under the age of 16 to wear adult clothing. Other changes include, having a psychologist or therapist that would be available during the time a model works. As well as requiring models to have valid medical certificates proving medically fit to work.

While I can appreciate that models are being treated better, I have to ask, is this a trend or temporary fad? Thoughts?

Until next time,
